Unflinching I stand like a lamppost shedding light on what may come

Comes, it may, no matter the years it shall take

Kneeling like in front of an altar like a miracle believer

Youth is for wasting it in lost causes like this

Oracle of failure but I dwell in possibility (skeptic little heart sometimes)

Us was once and never again but there’s a story that could wait
